Josh Barnett wants his fight with Fedor Emelianenko; unfortunately, he's recently wanted to take steroids more. He is not banned from competition, but he is not allowed to apply for liscense to fight for 12 months with the CSAC (California State Athletics Commission).
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker believes "the California State Athletic Commission and Josh Barnett will work their issues out and once he has done that then maybe we will be a little more interested in Josh."
Coker is currently pursuing the opportunity to have Fedor's next title defense against Alistair Overeem. Should that fight fall through, and Barnett is able to get his liscense, Strikeforce would sign that card in an instant with fans finally getting an opportunity to see it go down since the fight being cancelled this past summer.
