 Rumors came and went over the weekend, as Cam Ward suffered a leg injury due to a skate cut. The Hurricanes have now announced they have signed veteran goaltender Manny Legace to a one year, two-way contract.
In six games this season with the Chicago Wolves, Legace has posted a 2-2 record with a 3.21 goals against average, and a .898 save percentage.
The Toronto native has a career 2.54 goals against average, and 0.888 SV% with the St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Los Angeles Kings.
