Wow, when I saw this today I was shocked. I was really hoping that he would sign with the leafs this season and find his touch! Sad to see this guy go, he was one of my favorites, he will be missed.

at least the not to be named goalie has taken his team into the playoffs . That alien gives me the hibijibis ,

reportedly Kovis contract is worth 100M over the time of 15 years I think the NHL is also going to reject. Kovi is not going to be in the NHL till he is 41. Another no no is that massive price tag, why cant the devils just give Kovalchuk a contract with the length of 6 or 5 years and settle it out.. We all know I'm not saying all Russians are like this but if kovalchuk got his way he would or could ,play like crap in those years and when his salary goes down will decide to retire and move to Russia and still get a paycheck from the Devils. I assume the NHL saw this too

Looking forward to seeing how the Leafs will play this season, hopefully their goaltending will stay consistent and we won't have to scream at Toskala for letting in a bad goal. Instead, we can finally turn our attention to the player that sucks the most - Francois Beauchemin.

you guys didn't here this from me, but word on the street is Ron Wilson wants to sit down with Tomas Kaberle and ask him if he really feels that way about himself and the leafs.

as for Wellwood he is still unemployed, he claims hes gotten offers from Europe, but would rather stay in the NHL , but we do he has been talking to a couple NHL teams.

haha aren't we talking about saving the environment(on the environment I see sports like NASCAR and all those racing sports closing , I like the idea but I honestly don't see this happening in the next 8-10 years. arenas would need to get build new teams made etc
